Well put together story for someone who seemingly played a cop most of his life throughout his career.

This is great. When I saw the title, I thought it was going to be a Mandela Effect thing, but this is awesome.

Makes sense that Family Matters starts as this show focused around the family, then Steve Utkel makes ONE guest appearance, becomes a recurring character next season, then a regular character the next, and little by little takes up the entire show!
