Born in Chattanooga TN, raised in Dallas TX and currently living in Nashville, Shaylen is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter with music living in her soul since she was a child performing in church.
After 10 years of living in Los Angeles, Shaylen has accumulated tens of millions of streams as a major label pop artist. Although deep in her heart she felt her calling has always been back in Tennessee writing country songs where it all began. She walked away from it all to take the risk of embodying the truest version of herself while getting back to her roots. Country music is where she belongs and you can certainly hear the honesty of that it in her latest body of work.

Another version that still gives goosebumbs. When the original came out, I was a man in an abusive marraige. There was a woman I was working with who became the person who listened to my struggles. I worked up the courage to leave my abusive wife, and when I did, the woman I worked with swooped in and became my one in a billion love. Her and I have now been together since 2006 and we got full costody of the two kids i had with my ex, along with having two kids of our own.

Nice to Hear Austin singing again. Always thought he had a unique great voice. Hinder isn’t the same without him. His voice works well with Shay. This is a fresh take on a classic song. Well done.

This version and rendition of hearing from the girls view is such a wonderful idea. I love that the original singer from Hinder is singing in it. Always loved his voice. My son Grayson ran across this and sent it to me. Both of us have worked with Austin when he was Hinder’s front man in Richmond, Va. loved the original version, and love this version as well. So glad it got brought back around as a wonderful duet. Know it was painful the first go around, however it did open doors. Hope you can now enjoy this version. Hinder was epic. I'm so glad I grew up in the highlight time of Hinder, Nickleback, Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown.... it was a great time in music to grow up.
