How exactly did Trespasser conclude the Inquisitor's story? Instead, it sets things up for the character to either try to redeem or kill Solas. Either way, their story is not concluded. I mean, I'm not surprised because yes, every new DA game has a new protagonist. But. If Trespasser was meant to tie up the Inquisitor's story, it didn't.

I don't understand why people don't like Inquisition. I thought it was a beautiful game with awesome character development and rich story. The issue I really had was the smoothness of the gameplay and some of the game mechanics were a little touchy.

I think Trespasser was absolutely amazing, but I think it did an awful job of tying off the Inquisitor's story. I am biased because I was a Solasmancer, but every Inquisitor says that they are going to chase after Solas for one reason or another. To me that's a promise that I get to chase after him with my Inquisitor, though I know it's unlikely because DA always has a new protag. I'd still love to see the Inquisitor return as the PC, but with a new title.

A female dwarf companion would be cool too.

I really want to be able to have a mabari companion, I want All party members in the group adventuring to be able to ride horses and chatter along the way. Heck make riding specific chatter and walking specific chatter that would be fun. I want a variety of wardrobe from the get go. Also, make Wicked Grace a playable game with your party, or at a tavern. More romance cut-scenes, just didn't feel there was enough after you were a couple with your intended partner in Inquisition.

I want to see my Warden have a proper ending. Walking into a mirror doesn't cut it.

I know it's probably a minor thing to most but I'd really like to see "better" armors and weapons in the next Dragon Age. There was such little variety there, I think I spent 90% of the game wearing armors that looked exactly the same but just had some different materials in them.

They think Trespasser tied up the Inquisitor's story? It made it feel like it was just beginning. I'm really not going to be happy if we get a new protag.

a major gripe for me is that there is no real story threat to companions leaving other than "I don't agree with you, bye" ever since DA:O. Leliana dying after you poison the ashes was cool and had effects on the story, and choosing companions should too. Like having Sera and Vivienne be exclusive characters, where you can only recruit one or the other, and get branching story paths based on that.

I'll be a bit irritated if they completely ignore the whole, 'We're gearing up to fight this elven a**hole who's planning to kill everybody.' I don't mind having a new main character, but story-wise, they already had a very clear indication of where things were going. It'll be like Mass Effect's dark energy plot all over again. Trespasser was a cool DLC, but since it ended with a very definite cliff hanger, it needs to be addressed.

That is such bullshit about them giving resolution to the inquisitor's story in the trespasser dlc, if anything it created more loose ends and a personal vendetta. Even if you didn't romance Solas, his betrayal is just too large to ignore. This shit is personal now, and to have any other character resolve the crisis that results seems strange. I don't know how the writers would accomplish that with a new character, without the protagonist's stake in the game seeming shallow in comparison.

More hair

As long as they don't make the same mistake from Inquisition where the dalish Inquisitor is completely oblivious when it comes to elven lore (In the Well of Sorrows mission especially). If they avoid that I will be over the moon for the next game! Well, I am anyway but it really bothers me.

After all the backlash from ME:A, Bioware would do well to listen for what the fans really want from any future installments of Dragon age.
