I feel like it's important further reinforce that NO mental illness makes you do something like this. Elliot had something going on (being given meds used for both bipolar and schizophrenia, though it's not mentioned what he actually had or if he was diagnosed with anything) but his actions are still his own. The vast, vast majority of people with both schizophrenia and bipolar types I and II ARE NOT like this, and they can't be blamed for his actions. Obviously Sneeg's community is pretty good with all that stuff, but I wanna reinforce it anyways because it's not a common opinion in the general public.
