Never realised there was a term for this. Thanks for teaching me something new today! STARTING THE DAY OFF RIGHT!

I didn't know this term before, so it was nice to hear it discussed. I really feel like this is something that should be talked about more often, especially considering the role that the internet plays in our lives now.

That first ten seconds is a p good tl;dr for us existing, which is ironic since it is about not being good at tl;dr

My thoughts are looking forward in the near future, when perhaps the moments like this become so complex and fleeting. We don't notice it now but we process so much more information then previous generations. Going forward I think getting lost in context will be a problem only solved by Artificial Intelligence.

Ok let's bullet point this to make some sense out of it, although I'm not sure there is much sense, just some random thoughts:

I didn't know you were working on Crash Course Sociology! That's so cool, I haven't watched any of it yet, but I'm really excited. I loved my sociology classes in college and I'm super excited for it. Also, now I have the words "Context Collapse" to describe what I think about constantly.

I guess we're all scared of having too many contexts in our lives, at once, simultaneously, but with a space like youtube, we can be nervous ans scared and weird together :)
