I'm impressed that you did the whole install on your lid!!!

I would suggest that you use Loctite on the 3 main screws. The vibrations from the handle bars after riding awhile will loosen the system up.

Ok just passed my CBT and got a UM Renegade Classic and wanted to do some trips around Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland etc [looked at getting a motobike sat nav [how expensive???] i understand they need to be weather proof but still] This thing looks great though, one of the better built phone mounts too i love how its got that quick release, was going to get the "poncho" but you saved me £20. cheers

Got myself the same kit, I did get a cheapo bar extension kit that you screw between the mirror threads from AliExpress. Tried mounting it the same way you did, but didn't like it as much.
