Description
I review and compare cameras, lenses and drones in the harsh Alaskan wilderness.
Taking filmmaking and photography equipment out into the harsh but beautiful Alaskan wilderness I put cameras, lenses, drones and other related equipment to the test to see what survives, what is worth upgrading to, and where they fall apart. I also teach how to use it to capture incredible photos and videos so you can improve your photos and videos no matter where you are.

Buying a drone at 71, may not be a good idea but with your guidance I'm going to take the plunge , and hopefully have fun and get out more to exercise , even if it is just chasing after the drone lol.

Excellent vid for beginners- thanks. I've got about 200 hours flight time and totaled my Mavic Pro twice. All good. One suggestion for beginners is to learn to watch battery usage. It can be freaky for a beginner when the drone returns to home automatically because of low remaining battery. If you have trees or obstacles nearby, the experience can be stressful because the drone is very difficult to manually control in RTH mode. Keep up the great work!

What do you recommend for a first drone. I want to get something affordable. There are some very cheap prices out there. I would definitely like to spend as little as possible for my first and go from there. But I don't want to buy something for let's say $70 or I have seen them way cheaper. But I am a true believer in you get what you pay for. So I don't want something that isn't going to work or break down after 1 or 2 flights so how much do you recommend to spend starting off so it's not going to be a complete rip off. Does that make sense
