Love the demonic shadow to foreshadow exactly how evil this thing is and that it's intent was always malicious. Works perfect with the addiction/devil metaphor

This is symbolic because Venom begins to bond with Peter at the moment in his dream where he sees Sandman killing his uncle and that is moment of thinking of revenge

I love how this scene not just shows the Symbiote taking over, but how it symbolizes Peter's hatred and vengeance towards Sandman is consuming him. Great writing.

I truly like this iteration of the symbiote. Because usually we see how its just a black goop slithering and moving around in chunks but..in this, it litterslly crawls and climbs onto spidey like a demon and a real life parasite. Its so chilling.
