I am adopting a kitten in four days and have been binge watching people adopting kittens. Your kitten is so cute! It looks like the kitten I’m adopting but mine is darker. I’m so exited! Does anyone else do this?

Absolutely adorable. One thing in correction though, she may be requiring extra attention now (as she should as a kitten), as she grows they become more independent. Definitely more self sufficient than dogs. This doesn’t mean to leave her by herself (more than a day) or ignore her. Fresh water and nutritious food, play toys, a seat by the window, a clean litter box and one on one time is very important of course. Remember, they see you as a parent and you are all they have. Enjoy your new kitty. Again, she is super adorable.

What a cutie! Then again there aren't many less than cute kittens out there. The fun thing is that just like dogs every single cat is different. Their personalities are very distinct and they all act differently. I'm closing on fifty and have had cats my entire life and they have always been the best friends I've had.

Always adopt 2. They keep each other company and they play together. It was sad to see the kitten taken away from it's mother and brothers and sisters.
