I feel like an underrated “gag” is the unbroken bridge that: 1.Never gets fixed (despite the amount of Lego workers we see during the WHOLE SHOW) 2. The amount of times it’s used during chase scenes or destroying something, truly a consistency within Gumballs crazy world.

Just in case anyone wanted a ranking of all the episodes, here ya go:

1:18:19 Of all the surprisingly adult topics this show had, I think the thing that shocks me the most that they put in the show is the knowledge that Gumball was born out of wedlock. And I love the way they show it, too, it's actually funnier that they expressed this without dialogue so the parents can have that wide eye moment.

I always loved how they didn't make Richard the cliché dead beet, lazy father who doesn't care about anything. He genuinely loves his family and always looks out for them, even if it means putting his laziness aside

Richard Waterson is a true gem: the rare animation dad who is kind of stupid but still

Gumball came out at the perfect time imo. Chowder had just ended and CN needed something that pushed the boundaries in terms of creativity. Thus one of the greatest cartoons ever showed up, and I could not be more grateful to grow up with this show.

The fact that Gumball was able to even reference the creepypasta The Grieving where if memory serves correctly anias gets decapitated and other creepy stuff, is just insane to me

Gumball is a masterpiece no one will ever be able to recreate

This show got more and more bizarre as it went on and I honestly love that about it.

I'm so happy seeing this guy succeed, he used to be so underrated and im so happy seeing him finally get the recognition he deserves.
