I am 70 and I still think it is the best of all time

David Gilmour proves you don't have to be a shredder to be among the very best guitarist of our time. He puts his body and soul in his playing. Each string and note is a instrument unto itself. His unique sound is his and his alone. There is only one David Gilmour. When he is gone his legacy will live for as long as humans are listening to music. He is on a different plane than the rest of us mere mortals.

One of the greatest instrumentals performed by EASILY one of the greatest guitar players of all time. Gilmour is untouchable. Powerful. Soulful. Melodic. Epic. This kind of playing just elevates the music several more levels. And to think he probably just strapped on a strat in the studio one day and THIS poured out. $%#@#!

I'm so glad I got to see them in 1977 and 1980! David Gilmour is my biggest influence then comes Jimmy Page who I also saw in 1977!
