Regardless of if the data is true or not, you are living proof that an individual black person can be very intelligent and competent so don't let the average statistics bother you. They shouldn't bother any other black person either for that matter (including those who do have low IQs) because people should strive to make the most of themselves regardless.

Ignore the haters. You are very brave to touch this sensitive topic unabashedly. I hope more people can talk about these topics without discomfort or being mean.

Let's be honest. The truth is only offensive to stupid people.

The fact that certain races (as a whole) can be smarter than another is very possible but as Individuals we are all different and rise or fall to our own individual traits and skills. We need to think of ourselves as individuals and not as part of a certain race.

The only ones who will try to use averages to judge the capabilities of any given individual are either people who don't understand how statistics works or people who are willfully ignoring how statistics works to pursue a racist or prejudiced agenda. That being said, I see no problem in making these studies. When we observe any phenomenon we should investigate on the reasons why it exists.

Charles Murray gave a pretty good defense of The Bell Curve on Sam Harris' podcast recently. It's not the best podcast ever but it does clear up some of the racist fog surrounding the subject of race and IQ.

I applaud your matter-of-fact acceptance of the facts. That's the first step in having The Conversation required for figuring out what to do about it.

I am personally just fine with the results of such studies, but I am wary of the misuse of information by the public. The simple point here is that there are a slew of people who will use the most convenient and oversimplified parts of research to further some narrative that they have. We see media misrepresent information all the time with what I consider "click-bait" articles (even though the article is in a physical paper/hardcopy) where upon proper scrutiny the truth is/might be revealed.

I would love to live in a society where one's ethnic features were irrelevant to determine who they are as an individual. Unfortunately, in a race obsessed society, which saturates politics, and subsequently policy, this fantasy will never be achieved.
