Halo 1 is without a doubt one of the best games I have ever played.

One thing i will always love about Halo is the way it felt, it didnt feel bright and shiny. It felt dark and grim, yes we played as the hero of humanity, and it was a sign of hope, but the music, the tone everything felt dark and grim. This is probably one of the songs many people who grew up on Halo know by heart, because its catchy and sets the tone of the entire trilogy. Back when Halo was all about being dark and grim, when it seemed all hope was lost for humanity and we were its only hope in the eyes of John 117. Nowadays many games dont have this same appeal in their choice of music. Its all about the visuals and how the game looks and how the multiplayer is, rather than setting the tone of a campaign that brought MANY thousands of hours of enjoyment to a entire generation. I love this song, and my children will know it when they are playing Halo 12 and cod modern advanced super future fighting warfare 12 one day.

Honestly, My favorite part of the song is 1:09. When the violins come in with the drums, I love it. I keep backing it up.
