I think the reason Miyamoto would be upset is because the question itself means the game has been datamined, and it's common knowledge that Nintendo doesn't approve of such.

Fingore looks more like a Banjo-Kazooie character than a Mario one. Like I'd imagine this guy would appear in a dialogue balloon, opening and closing the line in it's face like a mouth and making mumbly noises as it spoke like Bottles.

I honestly think that Scripulous Fingore's enemy behavior would have him chase Mario when the two are facing each other, but he'll stop when Mario looks away from him. Sort of like a reverse Boo.

I kind of want him to be the Herobrine of Nintendo, this fanmade character who got into promotional content and referenced in several games, though he will most probably be given less of a chance of getting anywhere near official playability than Waluigi.

In his planned boss battle, his entire moveset was flying around while pointing at Mario. Just pointing, and he doesn't touch Mario.

He honestly looks like some sort of deuteragonist character that appears in levels the player's having trouble dealing with, and assists the player by showing hidden stuff like hidden blocks containing bonuses.
