If you didn’t know, the blue shell has an actual hit box, and mushrooms are coded to give you immunity to blue shells, so it’s that the blue panel has something to do with it, or maybe the blue shell got glitched by touching the panel or the wall, or maybe when you entered the panel, the game can make only one big event happening at a time, causing you to have some immunity when you touched the ramp, I hope this helped!
