Frecklewish was definitely not a saint in anyway but in some ways she is tragic, especially after she lost her brother, believed an awful lie from someone she actually trusted, died a gruesome death and not only was she sent to hell but she was pulled away from her brother entirely, the one she even grieved over for so long

This is now my headcanon for what actually happened! Mapleshade and the other DarkForest cats kept Frecklewish against her will in the DarkForest, and she can't escape to StarClan. Makes a lot more sense than what actually happened!

It's such a cruel irony that Starclan put the kits in danger by sending an omen to Ravenwing, and then they decide to put Frecklewish in the dark forest for not wanting to save them ‍

The authors saying she deserves the dark forest because SHE DIDN'T TRY TO DROWN HERSELF saving those kits is ABSURD. Like they sent Juniperclaw to the Dark Forest and he died saving Shadowsight and Violetshine. ABSURD. Absolutely ABSURD.

I like how you made it so Frecklewish was on her way to StarClan but Mapleshade sent a snake and it dragged her to the Dark Forest. Interesting way for her to go there instead! Also great job!!

I don’t know anything about Warrior Cats because I never read any of the books, so I was watching this out of context. But I DO know that this was an awesome map, and it was sad that she was so close to heaven with her friend, but the antagonist forced her to remain in hell, and her friend is trapped in heaven unable to help her again.

In my opinion, Frecklewish didn’t deserve the dark forest, but she genuinely could have TRIED to save them, or at least called out to Mapleshade to tell her it was too dangerous. She was there and she shouldn’t have stood there and watched. In fact, the whole clan broke the warrior code. “No cat is to turn kits away no matter their origin”, they could have at the least escorted Mapleshade, to ensure the safety of the kits, to Riverclan or to the outskirts of the territory such as twoleg place. Or kept the kits and exiled Mapleshade, there were capable queens and cats who could have taken care of them and they wouldn’t have known of their father, sure that’s not the most IDEAL but it could have been better than the fate Oakstar bestowed upon them.

Omg this is amazing! I love the concept. Hardly anyone shows how she felt after death or if they do, it's usually right after she's been sent to the DF rather than the in between. Also the designs are awesome. Frecklewish looks so elegant and sad while Mapleshade looks very conniving cruel.

I mean. If Frecklewish deserves the Dark Forest, then Ravenwing DEFINITELY does, too. He acknowledges that he knows the kittens are going to suffer even before he tells the clan, then when he does, he stand right beside Oakstar as he uses the prophecy to demonize three innocent children and cast them out during a storm. (It’s even implied Raven himself said they’re a danger to him beforehand from the way Oak said it) He had every chance to speak up and help the kittens, but he used his position to push them out.

I had lots of fun in this map! And everyone’s parts are absolutely fantastic!! Happy holidays and I hope all of y’all’s day is filled with happiness!!
