I've noticed that Deviljho & Anajanath have the same eating animation while Bazelgeuse & Rathalos also share their animation, so I guess the devs categorized monster eating animations based on their base body structure: Bipedal, Wyvern, Quadrupedal & Great Jagras

Deviljho and Bazel are apparently equal in power (thanks to Bazelgeuse bombs) but Deviljho is technically higher in the food chain. Deviljho can eat ANYTHING even elder dragons according to the lore

I wish deviljho had a different hunting animation than anjanath, imagine it coming out of the forest in a rage mode and just grabbed an aptonoth by the neck and smash it into se floor then it started eating it, or bazelguese having an unique eating animation they way it kills the prey is good but I'll rather him to have a more savage way of eating and not the rathalos/rathian one
