The way this John Connor carries himself... even a wounded man salutes him as he walks by. His entire demeanor screams “I’m in charge.”

The future scenes in the original film were some of the most bleak and depressing depictions of the future ever put on film. The darkness, landscape, and the music all bring it to life and make it seem so real. It's truly amazing what Cameron did with the tools available to him.
