This is a channel aimed at helping people use their 3D printers to build models, mostly model boats but I'll try to be a bit varied. This should be especially helpful for those starting out and new to this type of equipment.
Background -
After getting my first 3D printer and doing some impressive random models, I decided to focus on creating radio-controlled model boats to use on our local boating pond since I could build them for a small fraction of the cost of buying premade kits. My first model was a WW2 Corvette and although tough going with many mistakes along the way, it was completed beyond expectations. Taking it to the club it became obvious that I was the only one who had attempted a model using 3D printing so though it a good idea to start a channel to help others get started. I do seem to have an obsession with ridiculously large models that don't even fit in my tiny car! As this is my first ever YouTube channel so I expect it will be far from perfect! Enjoy 😊
