You hear how the guitars are really heavy and aggressive? You hear how the drums are really heavy and aggressive? Doesn't it make sense that the vocals match that? The side-effect is that many people have trouble understanding what specifically is said, which is why lyrics are provided. The vocals are another instrument within the band. Death metal is not all about what's being said, it's about what's being played. Oh yea, it's not screaming

The thing is, this music isn't even angry. It's just loud and fast. In fact, CC's music doesn't really have any angst. It's just blood and guts and violence. Maybe that's why I like this band so much. No real message. Just crazy fast fun music and a singer with a gigantic tree trunk neck.

"Encased in Concrete" is a very tame song title for Cannibal.

After I started listening to Cannibal Corpse, horror movies started to seem like normal movies.

Btw, if you were in concrete and could still breathe, because the hardening of concrete is an exothermic reaction, your skin will burn and peel away from you leaving everything in contact with it blistering and painful (:
