Very subtle observation here, but notice Aemond says “she’s your future queen.” Its small but telling. The plan to disinherit Rhaenyra was already in motion; the kids have been in on it since before the Vhagar incident or anything hostile took place. They were never going to let Rhaenyra take the throne.

My favourite Helaena premonition is when Alicent is conforting Aemond telling him "you'll have a dragon someday" and Helaena says to herself "you'll have to close an eye".
