Data has been loaded from google but cannot be imported in Sketchup and therefore cannot proceed any further to make assessments on the terrain

I followed your commands exact;y, as far as I can tell, to the Grab command, but it doesnt import into SKetchup..nothing happens..advise would be apprecited

this is not a google map you have imported. this is digital globe, which is sketcups supplier for maps. google maps are more up to date and have better resolution. they need to add google maps as supplier.

once you get the terrain import can you delete the image and just keep contours of import. im building a deck on my house which im designing in sketchup but i need to see the elevation
