I like Eddie Van Halen's reason for loving David Gilmore. "David Gilmore is the benchmark of less being more. He has proved that shredding and fast playing is not the benchmark of mastery level. Possibly the best live guitar solo ever. No words can describe it. Like angels screaming, just pure emotion. I'm 65 now & love most rock, but always come back to this. It will never fade.

My husband,Jody, just passed, February 1, 2025. This is his song. He loved it throughout his life, he’s now comfortably numb. Yes, I am missing him more than ever I can imagine. I love everything he shared with me in our 44 yrs together! I have been loved completely and loved him completely! Pink Floyd made him happy
