Dude those are some savage subs!!! A buddy had those in his civic hatchback, when they hit it would suck the air right out of the lungs. hard af to breath! Loud af

10:26 It's not a cross-over, it's a dual 4-ohm voice coil subwoofer. it's already internally wired in series or parreall. by the flip of that (for lack of a better word) switch. it's a convenience feature. that advice from you sound guy just gave you a bunch of irrelevant information. the 8 ohms is just a way for you to wire up more subs to the amp before going below it's recommended minimum impedance load. if you only want 2 subs, switch them to 2 ohms settings and wire them up in parallel for 1 ohms. BD1500 will be a good fit. wire them to 8 ohms, you can parallel 8 of them to achieve 1 ohm. would be a good match for a 5-8k amp at 1ohms.

Thats a great box for being tuned at 44 htz inhave same one but extended my slot ports thats behind each sub and made the tunning lower to 34 htz and i pit a double baffle on the front of mine and gorilla glued all inside seams and lined the entrire inside with dyno mat like material and it made a 3 db louder difference buy making the box more dense cause mine would flex with my 2 12 audiopipe quad stacks on 3800 rms this box is not intended for very high wattage since the mdf is rather thin. But all in all its a decent box in size i think the port is entirely too big for thise fosgates and they will most likely bottom out easy if u open ur car door while playing the music loud and sometimes even rolling 1 windown down all the way ur subs might bittom out I had like 7!sets of subs in that box to test and the skar vxf did well power acoustic mofo did well subs that did not well at all was skar evl ct sounds tropo kicker cvx also thr wlldse hcy did really good so did the sundown u and sundown sa also did very well

Second basket for leads? U mean in between the spiders? The basket is the metal frame that makes the subwoofer.

The question is where did you find T 0s? They had discontinued the 0s back when I was running Rockford! I purchased 1 on clearance and couldn't find another one online nowhere back then!

I dont understand the holes in the cone, wouldn't that effect the sound quality and pressure for the bass effect?
