I agree With your take. The only unfortunate thing is that nux seems to be the only one who has taken responsibility for his part in this which says alot about his character as well as the characters of vshojo and all vtubers who work with them.

Yeah, I did see someone also say that even after all is said and done, Nux is bound to walk away from this with some trust issues. He got stabbed by some very close friends and there's no way he goes around just trusting any of them after this.

One thing’s for sure. If nux wanted to put vshojo on blast they literally gave him all the ammunition to do so with their final statement. It’s a stroke of luck that he genuinely wants to save friendships on their side because he’s no stranger to burning bridges

This is entirely VShojo’s fault. Don’t @ me. They’re a company and have to take the proper precautions as a company would. They didn’t. They dragged an innocent victim of the Doxxer, and refuse to publicly apologize to assuage the fans of VShitShow. Epic flamer moment.

For those keeping score: Of the VShojo cast members, all but Hajime Hime, Projekt Melody, and Silvervale have apologized privately or publicly. I have not seen anything said by Hime and SIlvervale, and Projekt Melody has stated that she supports her group, whatever that means. I would like to point out, as I have before and probably will again until the dust settles from this disaster, that if anyone deserves all the hate being spewed, it's the sorry bastards, PLURAL, that ran the doxxing scam. VShojo claims that there was only one, but their own public statements contain so many contradictions that anyone believing what they say at face value needs to ask me what I'm charging for the Brooklyn Bridge if you know what I mean, and they effectively shot themselves in the foot with the way they mishandled this mess, but I'm not surprised that a greedy corporation of whatever size would put their own best interests ahead of the best interests of the VTuber community as a whole.
