About me:

I'm an Eagle Scout and worked for Sport Chalet for 18 years as a sales associate. I specialized in footwear and outerwear. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, target shooting, snowboarding, mountain biking and the outdoors. I have camped over 300 nights. I'm also a certified PADI Rescue Scuba Diver. I've traveled to Europe, China, Hawaii, Seattle, Michigan, Boston, New York, Florida, and many other places. My channel is mostly about fishing but I will make videos about anything outdoor or travel related. My favorite places in CA are Mammoth Lakes, CA and San Diego, CA which are both prime fishing spots.

I once went yellow fin fishing out of New Jersey. I was not prepared for the brute power this fish had. With 10 seconds I knew I had not chance of catching of catching this fish. Fortunately the line snapped at 15 seconds. Thank god, it was ripping off my arms.

I like the way the captain is so thorough. I've heard good things about the San Diego boat.

Brandon teaching J1. J1 is notorious for using light drag on the reel.
PacRam619 (32 minutes ago)
Use a drag scale. Even some deckhands tend to set too loose imo. Set it with a scale and know you can pull as hard as you want which saves time, energy, and ultimately fish.

Nice trip

I wouldn't fish with 25lb test for tuna or even yellowtail. 30lb test line would be the smallest line i would use. Most especially when you have 40 other people fishing on the boat.

I'm curious what hook did he change it to when you showed him
torinsandiego (7 hours ago)
People must get annoyed by you telling them what to do all the time. You're not a deckhand bro.

If you stop the footballs they will come right in fast not ten minutes on small fish

What rod would you suggest for rock fishing deep waters?
richardhuk33 (8 hours ago)
What gopro mount do you use? And are you shooting in linear, wide, or superview?
