Description
This is where I put my random ideas I make. I mainly focus on making YTPs especially of Word World because there’s a big lack of them. Sometimes I make cries for fanmade Pokémon because I plan on making a Pokémon fangame someday. Pokémon Opal will be great a but for you’ll just have to wait. In the meantime have some YTPs and other memes.

Bad future us is subtle its a lot more droning and melancholy, you feel sad in the US bad futures, you see the aftermath of everything, your there after you see how you failed and what future you left. like walking through the ruins of a city after its destroyed

I guess the context is that the US one doesn't give off the vibe of a bad future like the one from JP

To really get a proper understanding of the debate between why there is this massive divide between the Spencer Nilsen soundtrack and what we had gotten from Naofumi Hataya and Masafumi Ogata, we have to focus very heavily on the trends of the time in the industry: Sega of America most likely went to have Spencer Nilsen and company produce a unique soundtrack for CD '93 because the biggest genre that was attracting multiple outlets in media (especially on Local and Public Television stations; think the PBS Affiliates) is New Age, from I985 to 200I you couldn't go a day without hearing this in something on the airwaves (especially here in Massachusetts, where it had been a mainstay on WGBH programming well after Techno and Indie Pop took over during that overlap phase from I995 to 2006) and in SoA's eyes it probably felt that it would better attract that demographic; International's soundtrack was more so heavily focused on the trends of Eurodance and Europop that were taking Japan by storm, you have artists such as Rick Astley and Black Box to thank in part for this particular impact (in fact, the influence of their sound can be heard directly in Megadrive titles going as far back as at least I99I; Rick is the unique case, as Sparkling Zone/Spring Yard and Tidal Tempest (Past) both got this love, as well as "Work it Out" in Sonic R) and it truly shows in the development of some of this version's setlist, whether or not the North American player base would've enjoyed the International soundtrack in the same way that critics were enthusiastic about it back in I993 is beyond me but I'm certain it would've been highly acclaimed at the time and I wouldn't be surprised if some Review Units that have that setlist ended up in domestic possession by some fans long before their preservation online.

I like both but JP just sounds like pure chaos which i think better hits home how corrupt the zone became.

What???? I agree that most tracks are better in the japanese OST, but the tidal tempest US bad future theme is WAYYY better than its japanese counterpart. It not only sounds better but also fits much much better.
