Description
Welcome to our MotoFam of Mayhem!!! Here we will be sharing our experience of a family of 5 as we enter the world of motocross. We have an 8 and 2 year old as well as a 10 month old baby.... Our oldest Brianna, has been racing since she was 4 and riding since she was 3. Our middle child Corey as well as our baby Suki, have grown up around the noise and intense environment of moto their entire lives. Corey already seems to be addicted to dirt bikes as he's often acting out some of his favorite parts of his favorite movie "Moto 9" on his little electric 4-wheeler he has here in the house. Most of our videos will contain motocross training or racing mostly documenting the kids progress. Dad will also be racing the 2024 season in 40+ Sportsman D so those video will also be posted here. With that said if you made it this far your probably wondering were all the recent race videos of Bri are, and yes I am way BEHIND and if I am ever able to catch up those 2022 and 2023 videos will be posted

THE EASIEST WAY TO STAART 150rs is to turn the gas on give it 5 min turn the choke pump the throttle 3 times then kick with no throttle

Don't lean it over. Choke on, don't pump the throttle, kick until it fires. Once it fires and idling really low give it a minute then slowly open the throttle and it will idle up higher

I find that after Iโve had a bike for awhile, whether itโs electric start, carb, fuel injected, I get to know itโs little ways about how it like to be woken up. They all have some quirks.

Donโt be tipping the bike to get fuel into the carb the bike is already made to do that. Just turn on the gas and let it sit for 5 minutes then pull the choke, this will let more gas then air enter the cylinder and will be easier to start and be less prone to flooding. Also donโt kick it like itโs a drum take your time

A trick to never having a failed start. At the end of every ride, shut off the fuel petcock and let the bike idle until the carburator runs dry and bike dies. If you don't do this every time you ride, the ethynol fuel with plug the carburator jets.

That's why I like electric start. But you got it going. Have a great weekend.

Thatโs the down side with 150โs, if theyโve been sitting for a while it takes forever to kickstart. Try kicking it slowly a few times and give it gas, no other things really that you can do. Like what you did seems to have worked decent, getting gas through the carb

Try not kicking it, slowly push the kick start down a few times, then try the kick. I used to kick it again and again until i get frustrated. Now I dont even use the choke, and sometimes it starts by just slowly pushing it down.

Doesnโt finding top dead center help it start? Just kicking like that wonโt do anything.

that was some pretty dramatic music for starting a dirt bike

Woah! Top dead center! Find the compression stroke, it isnโt going to start if it isnโt on the compression stroke

Do not lean the bike over you will just flood the Bike instantly fuel is gravity Fed from the tank So the carb gets gas the best when it's standing straight up
