I love how they managed to find the perfect balance between being a lovable character and being an arsehole. That's genuinely impressive

I love how Jax genuinely meant the "ladies first" and then was like "wait a minute, no"

As someone actually named Jax, I can confirm that I am fine with whatever, as long as I get to see funny things happen to people.

I think Jax is one of the people who've been in the circus the longest, like 2nd or 3rd longest time. Considering his attitude, he acts as if everything just happens on a daily basis, like "oh look he abstracted, same shit as usual"

Michael Kovach was such a good choice for his voice. I literally can't see anyone else playing him.

The fact they can write such a snarky entitled character and still have an entire fandom love him is just amazing

I love the little detail of before he threw the bowling ball at kinger to knock him into the hole, he looks back down the way where kaufmo was rampaging and looked concerned, which i think means he actually knocked Kinger and gangle into the whole to send them away from kaufmo, showing that underneath all that Jack assert he does care about his friends

I know this sounds weird but I just love the way Jax’s mouth moves. Like his teeth are always in the same position but with how expressive his mouth is it makes it look like his teeth are moving with it

what i love so much about this character and this pilot as a whole is the humor is absolutely fantastic, its not cringey or trying to be overly edgy, everything jax says comes off as hilarious and genuinely cool, he could be constantly quipping lame forth wall breaking one liners, or being overtly mean, but the writing is so good hes a bastard while being so genuinely likable and thats a REALLY hard thing to do.

Jax is one of those rare moments where a fictional character is both likeable but also a total jerk, I've seen other shows try to do this but they never really perfected it as much as the amazing digital circus has done it

I love how this Michele has the exact opposite role in this show, than in murder drones, like, N’s a happy go lucky goober who has the sweetest personality you could ever fathom. And Jax, the literal dictionary definition of a jerk-wad but in the best way possible

He could so easily go from asshole to actual villain, he's already demonstrated a complete lack of care for dangerous situations, way more knowledge than the others, and was shown off antagonstically sabatoging all the character teasers, almost like how the main villain of a series would be teased.

I don't know if it has much to do with it but since Jax is voiced by Micheal Kovach and Zooble is voiced by Ashley Nicols (who for those who don't know Ashley and Micheal are engaged) it makes me laugh so much. It's like seeing those two teasing each other if you know what I mean
