Honestly this was a great idea, if you didnt have to do the restarts and could skip all the cutscenes, you would have it.

interesting fact: the MWIII team was rushed to make the game (around 18 months) and one thing they didnt have time to implement this time around was having NPC teammates. so it was cut all together. so missions where you probably went "i feel like i shouldnt be alone for this) was suppose to have teammates in it but all the dialogue referring to it was cut and NPC allys were scrapped

If you’re on battle net no, if you’re on steam - mw3 is literally listed as a dlc for mw2 so as long as it’s within a week, the 2 hour playtime refund restriction is voided

I played much more than than 2 hours of MW3 but they put it as DLC for MW2 on steam. I beat the campaign on Veteran and played some multi-player. Steam doesn't have a system in place to know if you're playing MW2 or MW3 or to record how many hours of the DLC you played so it just goes off of how many days since you bought it for a refund.

This makes me think they put unskippable cutscenes to artificially lengthen the game.

I did this method with a game called "A Way Out" Me and my cousin beat in within 6 hours; we contacted support at separate times stating our little siblings accidently made a purchase & they were kind enough to send all the money back!

This is a brilliant idea dude! I'm tempted to try this myself just to mess with Activision. But i know my luck and something will mess up in the refund process and they'll end up keeping my money for this dog water game...

I actually played it for about 4 hours and still requested a refund, saying that it wasn't as advertised/lived up to the quality of previous titles, and they STILL refunded me. Even steam knows.

Oh boy, the constant bugs & restarts in modern CoD games just to play them & the inability to properly function split screen & offline, is simply obscured.
