Home of the Classic Halo Advocates. Weapons Grade is a Halo Channel dedicated to the improvement of the Halo Franchise. I provide my criticisms about the Halo Franchise in hopes that Microsoft and 343industries improve their Halo games. I also delve into 343industries as a company, and how they can improve as a game developer studio. Many of my subscribers and I love Halo and are passionate about the franchise. Many of my subscribers are also very passionate about classic Halo, myself included.

How does Frankie still have a job, it's baffling. Does microsoft not care in the slightest that that guy and his friends have ran this franchise into the ground. If 343 was an independent developer they would've had to shut down a long time ago.

My perspective -- I don't want classic franchises that I already love to "evolve," "change," or "revolutionize" anything. I want new entries in my favorite series to be more of what I love, with iterative improvements and new content. If your goals as a developer include any of those buzzwords, you should be working on new IP, not using existing, successful franchises as a failsafe way to try your new ideas.

Too eager to claim the franchise for themselves, fucked up the visual with crazy new designs and so on and so on. I still play Halo but honestly, it doesn't feel like Halo anymore.

The way 343 talk about halo as a means to a career, work, and sales compared to Bungie's passion in dev documentaries of halo 2 and 3 cannot be more different. Just so sad.
