Something similar happened to me with the Starman Deluxe: he call two Starman Super both with Psi Shield, I broke the Starman Deluxe's Psi Shield and made him feel strange. He made a Starstorm to his own team, and both Starman Super bounced it back at him. It was really satisfying.

The game is interesting in that enemy AI can work a few different ways. I'm pretty sure Ghost of Starman is one of the enemies that just goes through its list of actions in order on repeat to ensure it will always countdown from 3 before doing its worst attack. There's others like just purely random, random where the first action they can do has a 50% chance, the second 25%, then 3 and 4 are 12.5% Finally there's the AI where each turn they will toggle between picking randomly between their first and second actions, then randomly between their third and fourth actions.

shield Σ is pretty much the same result, just with 1-2 extra turns of manually bashing
