Thank YOU Ginger!!! This technique is just what I needed to know! It's so counter-intuitive to use the brush that way, but it produces the exact effect that I wanted/needed ... I wish they had taught that (& so many other techniques) in my university art classes (grrrr). What a blessing youtube is!

I love this . Going to try very soon. I have a painting on my easel that has sat there for several months. The patron Unicorn Angela Anderson did.
