To be honest, this doesn't look as painful as it's made out to be. It looks more annoying than painful.

As long as you are hydrated, sit still, and learn to control your breathing, getting a tattoo is very relaxing and enjoyable. It's like therapy for me

What makes it hard isn’t the initial pain it’s taking that pain for 5 hours straight after 30min you want to stop

It’s like getting multiple vaccinations

What helps me is the fact that these aren't medical needles that go into your veins and/or they won't puncture too too far into your skin.

I'm getting a tattoo on my wrist for my mom. She always says "I love you to the moon and back" so I'm getting a pocket watch on my wrist and the chain is going to go around the moon and back. On the pocket watch is the exact time that she leaves for Heaven. She's got a few days left, so we're just getting everything but the time so she can see it. Then I'm getting the time added when she goes. Personally I'm not a tattoo person, but this means a lot to me. It'll be my only tattoo.
