It is about the same plot like the R34 loss to AE86. Its R34 boost was getting down due to its overuse while FD overtook.

This was the battle against 7 Star Leaf, so it was a blue ER34 instead of a yellow BNR34. So the colour is right, except it looks a little too purple.

It was a good idea to bring that ER34 to battle Keisuke's FD, Atsuro's ER34 weights more than that FD. But, Keisuke's FD acceled faster so it seems. Come to think of it, I wonder if that ER34 was an single or twin turbo.

Actually for the Battle Stage 2 they changed Atsuro's car into a R34 for some random reason. The one way you can differentiate a R34 and a ER34 is that the ER is actually a 4 door car and is FR... But in this battle they made it a R34.

yeah the ER34 is significantly lighter due to it being RWD so its more suited for such twisties.

but KT didn't overtake immediately at the corner exit which is when the higher cornering speed applies. Instead, both cars were going dead straight when KT overtook... what's going on?
