I love the tip about opening all the jars first so they don't get dirty and are ready and putting it all the spices in a bowl. Turkey is ready to go.

Very nice looking turkey. I have wanted to get one of those roasters for a while, I think I will pick one up before I make my next Turkey.

i use a roaster everytime. the best way ive found is heat the roaster with the lid on to 450 put the turkey in and use a thermometer with the long wire .after half hour lower to 350 and dont raise the lid at all until the temperature is correct. A 20lb turkey cooked in around 2 hours and was perfectly browned and juicy. best turkey ever. The lid is self basting.

My oven broke and my landlord is a snowbird and cannot fix the oven anytime soon. Was thinking about buying one of these for the upcoming Thanksgiving and was unsure and nervous about how it’ll go. Thanks for the informative tutorial! Definitely getting one!

I normally fry our turkey but I do roast a turkey in the roaster for the stock! These things cook turkeys really well!
