Imagine how simple the ‘cheekmark plothole’ could have been resolved if they just said: Festivia and Meteora were half sisters but Meteora was sent away because of being half monster while Festivia was kept because she was human

It really was shocking to me just how indifferent the characters became to death, especially at the end. Star being like "lol I guess we'll never know!" when she's asked what happened to the Magical High Commission after magic is destroyed left a bad taste in my mouth.
