Great show that inspired the X Files. I miss Mr. McGavin; a great comic and/or serious actor.

RIP. Gavin, this was a fantastic series, that many others sprung from.

When i was 14 this was my absolute favorite show, scared the crap outa me, great show, for the times

I just loved this series when I was eleven. It was scary, but funny, witty at times, had an appropriately gritty grimy 70s city feel, and good actors. It was a shame that the budgets were $5 a show and so few episodes were made.

Wow! This episode used to scare the crap out of me when I was a kid. I used to live out in the country and I had a dream where I heard the computer noise of the robot coming down from the end of my road at midnight which was a quarter mile away. The noise got steadily louder as the robot approached, Then I could see it in my front yard, Then I heard it inside my house, the sound getting louder, then finally, saw it in my bedroom doorway as it came for me. Then I woke up. Mr. RING the robot and me at the age of 10 will always be the stuff of nightmares.

I watched this as a kid in the 70s and now with the dvd box set , kolchak your a legend

I assume that Kolchak has a number of these suits, because they manage to stay clean. Got to love him!!!

One of the best TV series ever.

I loved this series and still watch it Saturday nights on MeTV. My wife walked up behind me and scared me to death one night when this was on.

This show scared the crap out of my brother and I when we were little, especially the headless motorcycle rider episode.

Loved this show, detective, and paranormal activity... I'm in.
