The fact that they referenced the dog as their first kid and an angel several times before saying what they did ... actually SICK

The fact that they romanticized the entire thing, DID A PHOTOSHOOT WITH THE KID NEXT TO THE DOG, and ESTABLISHED THAT THE CHILD WAS THE INSTIGATOR, AND STILL. STILL. PUT. THE DOG. DOWN. Likeeeeee how do you preach your pro-life christianity and be so totally ok justifying taking a life away unnecessarily. Disgust.

This was the most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen. Truly makes me wonder how the dog was treated behind closed doors.

Yes why not rehome the dog ?????? Mercy I unfollowed her once she stopped wanting to adopt for the reason on not being able to monetize the child

Not to mention they’re the same people who gave up an adopted child because they wouldn’t be able to share any content with him in it.

I love how they claimed to speak to someone at the Humane Society for guidance, and then the Humane Society came out and said that never happened.

What I love most about Lauren is that she's one of very few people on Youtube who actually know when the right time is to speak up.

I’m so confused why couldn’t they give the dog to someone else or to a home if they didn’t want it. Didn’t have to kill the poor dog

My heart is just broken for the dog. Just broken. We had a rescue husky, who was tossed to at least 5 homes before we got her. She had a lot of "issues" and we helped her though as many as we could, and the ones we couldn't, we didn't put her in a situation for her to get anxiety or become scared. We avoided things that might upset her. She was not aggressive, at all, but her anxiety could get so bad at times. Someone CLEARLY hurt her in the past. So we did everything we could to give her her best life, and I would give ANYTHING to spend one more day with her. This dog could have been rescued. But Nikki CHOOSE to kill the dog instead of doing ANY work to try and save the dog. I just can't. My heart is so broken. I work in rescue as well, and I even the dogs that are hard cases, we find safe places for them to live out their lives. Sometimes that means they stay with a foster, with their own safe space, for as long as needed. There are options. . . they just didn't care to look into any of them.

“He would get up and walk away” “he would growl” “he was unpredictable” sounds like he was 100% predictable and the child was not. But would you ever put down your child?

The husband said he wanted to kill him in the backyard, that is just sickening to me, plus the kid was messing with the dog imagine having a little kid doing that to you all day who wouldn’t go crazy,

To me, the way they kept mentioning considering putting him down before and that they were about to move so they already "didn't know what was going to happen" with the dog tells me very clearly that this was a convenient excuse to get rid of a dog they were tired of caring for.

The fact that Lauren was so pissed off but kept her cool and actually did RESEARCH makes me have so much respect for her! There was no reason why you should put a dog down just bc they can’t find other ways to help the dog

Nikki: Bowser was dangerous, harmed our son, and was too dangerous for it to have around our baby.

veterinary technician here: so many things could have been done before euthanasia. training, consilting with a behaviorist, rehoming to a home without kids...literally there are SO many options
