Say what you will about the Unowns, but the fact that Ethan says they're "just Pokemon" is what gets me because it's something Team Rocket would say. Throughout the franchise we're taught that Pokemon are not lesser beings just because they aren't human and they should be treated with respect, and yet Ethan suggests otherwise just because of what the Unowns did to him. It's like he went completely insane after death.
