The answer is simply because sp saver doesnt reduce sp costs below 1 iirc, so sword toss isnt affected

technically if you get the card that gives you sp on a successful hit it costs nothing

This is to prevent moves costing 0 SP.

I'm not sure anyone noticed, but the description of the sword toss says it costs 2 sp when it only uses one?

It makes sense because that would be a little bit OP because once you get these sword, not the wooden sword DM sword that makes you do one extra damage and it causes zero that would make ball basically completely useless and then a lot of people would be starting to use the knight card And basically the ball freaking item would just be completely useless because what it’s supposed to do is it can hit flying enemies, unlike the sword and can hit enemies from any row the sword can’t do that head so if you’re able to throw your sword that does three damage and cause no special points That would be a bit broken

If you want sword toss to cost 0 sp you can use happy sp which gives you 1 sp every turn so technically it makes sword toss cost 0 sp

its because SP Saver reduces the cost by 50% and not by 1, and since this game doesnt do decimals its just rounded back up to 1.
