I grew up in Utah and as a kid we were absolutely terrified of the Skinwalker stuff. We wouldn’t even joke about it due to the experiences we had. We came to the conclusion that they feed on fear and when you talk about them they become real. Spooky huh?

A thing that strikes me, as a Scandinavian (Swedish) is the similarities between the "big foot" stories and some of the stories surrounding Trolls in our folk lore....like the smell and the illusive figures behind the trees, just outside the range of sight.
