I'm an avid Virginia angler who loves to target Bass, Striper, Crappie, and Snakehead on our local lakes and Rivers. I enjoy fishing from my boat, kayak, and even the shore. My #1 goal for this channel is to teach others how to become better anglers and continue to learn and grow everyday on the water.
I love teaching anglers how to better read and interpret their fishfinders, from the Garmin Striker 4 on up to the Garmin Echomap Ultra 106. You will find many videos featuring how to use these great fishfinders to their fullest potential.
On this channel you will find a variety of content from fishing, to sonar interpretation, tips and tricks, and even maintenance on my Evinrude ETEC outboard. I hope this channel has a little something for everyone who watches, and we all continue to learn and grow together.

The way I figured it out was by tying on a LARGE swimbait and watching how it shows up on the fishfinder. This allowed me to see the "radius" of the finder... and gave me a better understanding of where I need to place by lures to hookup with a fish based on where it appears on the fish finder. This was an awesome explanation. This took less than 8 minutes but really explained what was going on and why... which makes my test make even more sense.

Very well done. I've been around fish finders for the last 20 yrs and NEVER!! understood why they looked like an arch. now makes perfect sense.....again. GREAT JOB!!!

Awesome info that actually changes the whole view of how I have ever used a sounder knowing that the blurry step before the clear screen is the actual real time over the structure or fish those seconds when casting and anchoring in position makes all the difference cheers great knowledge and info thank you safe journeys to you and all infinity
