When I was a kid and was playing with slot cars, you had to adjust your speed in the curves or else you'd wipe out, you had to have skills to beat your opponent, this looks more like a tech race, one speed full blast, see what happens.

They should have full size wing cars with tinted wing material so they can be seen by other drivers and limit the engines to 1.6lt or 2lt and if you don't want to compete or drive one, you don't have to.
