Great idea Stig. I’ve got a 6x4 piece of foam that I put on top of my pool table. I store the foam in my shed when not in use.

Good idea, I'll do something similar I think when the 6x4 gaming mat arrives. One quick thought: if you made one of the outer sides deeper, you could fit plywood there as well and have a 4x3 table surface for smaller footprint games.

Hi mate, great idea. I can only find 2.44m by 1.22m which is something like 8x4 in ANY hardware store (B&Q, Wickes etc). Did you get one of them and cut it down to size?
