When my grandpa died, she said these last words that broke me for the rest of my life. He also had dementia and it was extremely painful to see him forget what he was doing, but he was a happy man, happier than ever. His last words were “I-… Luke, everything is ok. I am fine. Do not worry Luke.” I was happy when I was 8, now I can’t really see his face without really feeling the same.
