I love model trains: my current layout is only 128x81 cm.
My previous layouts were also small:
1. First layout 2020-2022
It was initially 95 x 148 cm. Later I extended it to 105 x 185 cm. The theme was an early post soviet union village in the nineties, called Petrushino, but I could change the buildings and get Persley, a UK village.
2. Second layout 2022-2023
In November 2022 I reconfigured the layout and it then contained two villages, a soviet village “Petrushino” and an early post-soviet village “Kuzhenkino”, still on the same surface of 105x185 cm.
3. Third layout 2023-2025
Based on a Lima layout I had a dedicated UK layout of a village called Persley.
4. Fourth layout (2023-2024)
Based on Noch Birkenfeld this Petrushino layout was only 140 x 100 cm.
PS: I am not Russian and not English, I understand both languages but some mistakes might occur in the English and Russian texts on this channel. I am sorry for that.

Lovely starter set. Z scale is a unique gauge in the model railway world. Not much outside of German outline models though, but if German outline models are your thing then the space you have to build a model layout is immense!

Z - микроб самоходный. Так я называю этот масштаб. Жаль что видео, не может передать, на сколько все миниатюрно. Наш типовой масштаб H0, просто Гуливер на фоне Зетки.

You will get better reliability if you pin the track down as Marklin suggests.. System Jorger make a good track cleaning car but the track must be reasonably to start with and use the car regularly after that. DCC is also an option with a few manufacturers making decoders.

Очень круто! Поздравляю с крутым приобретением) У меня тоже есть маленький макет в масштабе Z. Что могу сказать, без условный минус в таком масштабе в том, что надо очень часто чистить колёса и рельсы. В остальном, как по мне, для такого масштаба детализация, очень даже хорошая)
