Welcome to Monsville Railways

This channel shows the progressive development and building of my Model Railways along with running the various locomotives as my collection grows.

The processes shown are ones that I have developed from watching many YouTube channels on model railways and terrain and diorama development and adopting the techniques that work best for the way that I build. These processes are explained in detail later in the video list so stay tuned to see how I approach the terrain surfacing of my layouts.

Also included are snapshots of Tri-ang, Tri-ang Hornby and Hornby catalogues for many of the locomotives shown on my layouts.

Many of the buildings on the layout are 3d printed and painted as the development of the layout progresses.

The style of the layouts are generally a medieval, steam punk type look with some Steam punk locomotives appearing part way through the build and video list.

Each Video Part is approximately covering one month in development.
