What I always do it’s to sight the red dot with a bore laser at 25 yards, then at the same distant, do the co-witness with the iron sights. This way of sighting have worked for me pretty well and have obtained the best accuracy so far.

i like the lower 1/3 co-witness on my AR-15 magpul for better view of target, and will zero my iron sight and red dot separately- thank you!
