Let me straighten this out for the whole comment section: Akuma is canon in both the Street Fighter universe and the Tekken universe, but both are separate universes. Street Fighter takes place most likely in the 90s while Tekken takes place probably in the future. Street Fighter X Tekken isn't canon, and neither is Asura's Wrath. Soul Calibur and The Witcher are in the same universe as Tekken, though. Final Fight, Strider, Captain Commando, Rival Schools, and Saturday Night Slammasters are in the same universe as Street Fighter also.
